Troubleshooting:Oral piercings tend to swell in most cases so your initial jewelry will be longer to allow for it. If your swelling gets worse, consult your piercer. After 2-4 weeks, have your jewelry changed to a shorter one by your piercer. These piercings need to be done by a skilled piercer that will check for blood vessels and arteries in order to avoid them.
