Troubleshooting: Oral piercings tend to swell in most cases so your initial jewelry will be longer to allow for it. If your swelling gets worse, consult your piercer. After 2-4 weeks, have your jewelry changed to a shorter one by your piercer. These piercings need to be done by a skilled piercer that will check for blood vessels and arteries in order to avoid them. Extra care is needed for this piercings due to their location.

Aftercare: For inside your mouth, use a non alcoholic mouthwash like Biotene or H2Ocean 2-4 times a day or as needed. Refer to our Aftercare Instructions for more details.

Retiring: Oral piercings close really fast and rarely stay open for long even if you’ve had it for a long time.
